1986年9月生,湖北监利县人。中国科学院青年创新促进会会员。2013年毕业于中国科学院大学获得岩土工程博士学位,先后在挪威岩土工程研究所(NGI)、法国南特中央理工大学(ECN)和加拿大麦克马斯特大学(McMaster)开展合作研究。
